Abstract:
[Objective]This article aims to study how to use remote sensing data to monitor the forest growing situation of Beijing-Tianjin Sand Storm Source Project.[Method] It used the technology of the object-oriented method to extract the tree crowns based on from the QuickBird high resolution(0.6m)remote sensing image in the Beijing-Tianjin Sand Storm Source Project of Zhangshanying Town,Yanqing country,Beijing. The specific steps are as follows:firstly, the treatment of ortho-rectification,the fusion and the enhancement have been done for QuickBird remote sensing data. The imagery was segmented via different scale parameters in the software of eCognition, and next, the tree crown’s information was extracted and transformed into vector data.According to ArcGis,the diameter of tree crown was calculated direct.[Results] The research results illustrated that the lowest precision of the tree crown diameter was 68.49%,the highest precision of the tree crown diameter was 96.01%, the average precision of the tree crown diameter was 80.02%.[Conclution] It could acquire a better accuracy. In the project area, the lowest preserving rate of the planting trees was 50.86%,the highest preserving rate of the planting trees was 74.10%,the average preserving rate of the planting trees was 62.38%.It provided scientific basis for the Beijing-Tianjin Sand Storm Source Projection assisted by remote sensing data.
