Abstract:

This paper summarizes the Sino-foreign cooperation status in tropical agricultural sciences and technologies, and points out that China has made a good basement for international cooperation in tropical agricultural sciences and technologies. At the same time, problems of international cooperation in tropical agricultural sciences and technologies are analyzed. Based on above research, developing strategies to promoting Sino-foreign cooperation in tropical agricultural sciences and technologies are put forward as follows：the State should organize internal tropical agricultural science and technology entities to develop international cooperation step by step under the specified plan; the relevant cooperation strategy should be taken to different characteristic of agricultural resources and science development of countries; international scientific cooperation project and principal programmes should be taken part in or organized in order to make the most use of international intelligence and strive for leading the international development of tropical agricultural science and technology.
