Abstract: The focus and the difficulty of the new rural construction is in the underdeveloped western regions, while the successful case of less developed areas has great worth popularizing significance. This article take the Guizhou Meitan County as an example. After recognizing the particularity of the new rural construction, it has systematically analyzed and researched the first batch of new rural construction, which has 13 pilot villages, and has summarized the main development modes and has proposed some suggestions.
