Spatial-temporal Difference of Eco-environmental Carrying Capacity Based on PSR Model and GIS: A Case Study of Hainan Province

Abstract: The eco-enviromental carrying capacity is a critical part of regional sustainable development.In consideration of the social, economic and environmental status of Hainan Province, this paper selects 27 indexes to construct a pressure-state-response (P-S-R) model and mainly uses GIS spatial analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to study the spatial and temporal difference of eco-enviromental carrying capacity in 18 cities and counties of Hainan Province.The research mainly indicates in three points.First,the eco-enviromental carrying capacity in Hainan Province is better than other provinces and the overall level of which is high.Second,with the development of social and economic, the membership value of the vast majority of cities and counties is increasing, and the carrying capacity of eco- environmental is increasing continuously.Third,The eco-enviromental carrying capacity of cities and counties in Hainan Province shows an decreasing trend in the eastern-midwest-northern regions.
