Research Progress of Double Flower and Its Molecular Mechanism

Abstract:

Double flowers are one of the main ornamental characters of ornamental plants. This paper mainly describes the current research progress of double flowers at home and abroad, summarizes the various origins of double flowers. The molecular mechanism of the ABC model of flower organs and the ABCDE model affecting the formation of double flowers was overviewed, and the influence of external factors temperature, hormones and leaves on the re-petals of the petals was expounded. Study results showed that the formation of double flapping character was related to the origin of double flapping, molecular mechanism and other external factors. The research on double flowers provides the theoretical basis for the development of double petals and the cultivation of new varieties, as well as the reference for the research on double flowers.
