Abstract: In this paper, the author adopted the alternant irrigation manner from fact of cucumber production and research the effect on growth, yield and dry matter of cucumber under different irrigation frequency in solar greenhouse. The study show that high frequency irrigation increase remarkably plant height, single plant fruit weight ,average single fruit weight and yield, but decrease stem breadth, accumulation of day matter and WUE of cucumber. It is favorable on the increase of leaf chlorophyll content，accumulation of day matter and WUE of cucumber under the proper irrigation frequency under drip irrigation manner and irrigation frequency six day.
