Sombrasol Treatment: Effects on Greenhouse Environment and Growth, Fruiting and Basal Stem Rot of Autumn Tomato

Abstract:

The paper aims to verify the application effect of sombrasol on greenhouse environment and the growth, fruiting and basal stem rot of autumn tomato by field experiments. The results showed that: under sunny and cloudy conditions, the greenhouse film with sombrasol treatment could reduce the ground temperature, air temperature and light intensity and improve the relative air humidity, and provide a good environmental condition for the growth of autumn tomato; compared with the control treatment, sombrasol treatment improved the growth rate of autumn tomato plants, increased the fruit setting rate of the first inflorescence by 18.51% and the yield of the first layer fruits by 82.66%, and reduced the incidence of basal stem rot by 15.28%. In conclusion, sombrasol can be applied to autumn tomato production in greenhouse.
