Abstract: With the development of tourism and recreation, it is obvious that tourism and recreation have an impact on environment. Environmental problem has become one of the main obstacles to sustainable tourism development. The tourism environmental impact in the Lihu parks was researched. Influences of tourism activities and recreational building on environment, and influences of environment on tourists were included in the paper. The results were as follows: (1) The relationship was Leq =19.91+7.08191nN between the noise of tourism (Leq, dB) and the number of tourists (N). (2) The vegetations of Lihu parks could purify atmosphere efficiently. The rates of removal NOX, SO2 were 7.7%~11.7%, average 32.3%, 28.1%~37.5%, average9.9%, respectively. (3) The most of tourists were satisfied with sound environment.
