The Initial Research at Rice Synthetic Resistance to Pests and Diseases

Abstract: Via the experiments at 13 main rice varieties(combinations) introduced and extended in Liujiang County in recent years, such as Zhongyou663, etc, to have synthetic evaluation by using the method of [0,1]Multiple Goal Decision. According to the ability of resistance to rice plant hopper, rice case worm, paddy borer and sheath blight, these 13 rice varieties(combinations) are sorted like the following. YouⅠ602, JinYou602, LingYou6602, FengLiangYou1, JinLiangYou2, YouⅠ402, T You 259, Jinyou 463, Zhongyou71, Zhongyou 663, Zhongyou 207, Jinyou 207, Jinyou 616. Among these varieties(combinations), the first five ones are medium resistance, and the rests are all medium Susceptible,none of them is high resistant variety(combination),this means that there are still a lot of work to do with rice breeding for varieties(combinations) which have synthetic resistance to pests and diseases. Via the Analysis to the Genetic relationship, it is found that the close genetic rice varieties(combinations) have similar resistance. To analyse the resistance of the five varieties(combinations) which are medium resistant, and to have reasonable arrangement for different varieties in different ecological environment accordingly.
