攀西地区玉米地方品种萌芽期抗旱性研究

Study on the Drought Resistance of Different Maize Locale Varieties of Panxi Area in Germination Stage

摘要:

为进一步利用攀西地区玉米地方品种进行抗旱育种提供理论依据,采用聚乙二醇-6000模拟水分胁迫,通过种子发芽试验,以萌芽抗旱指数、活力抗旱指数、相对发芽率、贮藏物质相对转运率和百粒重为鉴定指标,对66份攀西地区玉米地方品种萌芽期抗旱性进行鉴定。结果表明,玉米种子萌芽期抗旱指标应以萌芽抗旱指数为主,但还要以其他指标为辅,才能全面评价品种的抗旱性。66份地方品种对水分胁迫的反应有显著差异,其中18份材料表现较强的抗旱性,5份资源在多个指标上都表现极强的抗旱性。

Abstract:

Using polyethylene glycol (PEG)-6000 for simulating water stress, the drought resistance of 66 maize local varieties was evaluated according to germination index of drought resistance, vigor index of drought resistance, relative germination ratio, transformation percentage of stored substance and 100-grain weight, in seedling emergence experiment. The results indicated that germination index of drought resistance was the primary selecting indicator, and for all completely evaluating the drought tolerance ability other indicators should be used. There was significant difference in drought resistance of 66 maize landraces, and there were 18 resources have strongly drought resistance, and 5 resources display the greatly strengthened drought resistance in many indicators. Screening in the maize local varieties the fine drought-resistant gene resources had been selected, and the theory basis for further drought-resistant breeding had been provided.
