Abstract: Abstract: The waterlogging disaster is one of the main agro-meteorological disasters during crops growth period in the region of Jianghuai. Waterlogging disaster occurred frequently, endangered many crops and affected extensive range, which causes the huge difficulty and loss to the production construction and the people lives and restricts seriously the sustainable development of agriculture and economy in this region. In this paper, the characteristics and causes of waterlogging disaster have been analysised in the region of Jianghuai, and the corresponding prevention measure of waterlogging disaster has been proposed, which have importance significance to strengthen the ability of agriculture to resist disasters, guarantee the agricultural high yield, the prevention plan of flood and the develop of regional economies and so on.
