Discussion of Accumulation of Proline and its Relationship with Osmotic Stress Tolerance of Plants

摘要:

脯氨酸是植物体内适应逆境胁迫的一种重要的渗透调节物质。此文概述了脯氨酸在植物抗渗透胁迫中的作用、累积机制以及植物编码脯氨酸代谢、运输相关的酶基因和抗渗透胁迫基因工程改良等方面的研究进展,分析提出了目前植物抗渗透胁迫研究方面存在的问题,并对今后研究的重点进行了展望,以期为植物抗逆性的遗传改良提供理论依据。

Abstract:

Proline is an important osmotic adjusting materials to adapt to environmental stress in plants. This article summarized the effect of proline for Osmotic stress tolerance in plants, the advances in the accumulation paths of proline, and the genes, which are related to proline metabolism and transportation, the relative genetic engineering improvements for Osmotic stress tolerance of plants were also reviewed in this paper, puts forward some problems in present researches about Osmotic stress tolerance in plants and some directions for the following study, in order to provide a theory basis on genetic improvement in stress resistance of plants.
