Abstract:

In order to select suitable colored pepper varieties which were suitable to cultivate in Guangdong greenhouse, randomized block design method was used to make comparison experiments of five colored pepper varieties introduced from Heilongjiang. The results showed that the growth tendencies among different varieties had obvious differences; ‘Jinzi’ and ‘Jinhong’ had the highest yield on plant and plot， but the fruit quality of ‘Jinzi’ was the worst. ‘Jinhong’ and ‘Jinhuang’ showed the highest Vc content and sugar content， and had the best fruit marketability， which could extend in production as the main cultivating varieties in Guangdong.
