Abstract:

To provide reference for the control of Mamestra brassicae Linnaeus, this study summarized the research progress of biological characteristics, physiological and biochemical characteristics and control strategies of Mamestra brassicae. In terms of biological characteristics, insect state and development duration, phototaxis, diapause, artificial feeding formula, feeding law, migration law, population growth and decline law, spatial distribution pattern of eggs and species of natural enemies were reviewed. In terms of physiological and biochemical characteristics, five parts of heat shock, sex pheromone, drug resistance gene P450, chitinase gene and digestive enzyme were summarized. In terms of control strategies, the types, dosages and periods of chemical and biological control agents were briefly described. Based on the research, we propose the control strategy of Mamestra brassicae Linnaeus in beet field, which emphasizes the guidance of population dynamics monitoring and drug resistance monitoring, takes chemical pesticide reduction and synergy as the core, and combines chemical control with biological control.
