Abstract:

To study the growth characteristics of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus under pond culture condition and explore their growth rules, breeding experiments were carried out from May to October in 2017, and the survival rate and feed coefficient were obtained. By measuring the body length, body mass and body height, the growth characteristics of the carp under pond culture condition were analyzed. The results showed that after about 5-month breeding, the survival rate of the carp was 92.6%, the feed coefficient was 1.38, and the average body length, body mass and body height was 21.13 cm, 689.21 g and 7.73 cm, respectively. The corresponding coefficient of variation ranged from 10.88% to 15.53%, 9.15% to 46.44%, and 13.82% to 22.04%, respectively. Additionally, the relative fatness ranged from 2.84 to 7.31. There was a linear regression relationship between body length (LS) and total length (LT) : LT=1.721LS+0.4517 (R2=0.9998), and the regression equation of body length and body mass (W) was: W=0.0174L3.2946 (R2=0.9725). The growth equation of von Bertallanffy was fitted: LSt=29.354 (1-1.082e-0.399t)3, Wt=1790.916 (1-1.688e-0.547t)3, LHt=9.352(1-1.688e-0.54t)3, and the input-output ratio was 1:1.19. In conclusion, the growth rate of Cyprinus carpio haematopterus under pond culture condition is faster and the economic benefit is well, and the study provides a theoretical reference for the large-scale culture of carp in the north of Anhui.
