Abstract:

The purpose is to study the foliar spraying application method of cold-resistant agent KHYE-1 and its effect on cold resistance of rice seedlings. The early rice variety ‘Zhongjiazao 17’ was used as material, the seedlings were treated with cold-resistant agent and cold stress, and the biochemical indexes of seedlings were further detected with chemical and biochemical method. The results showed that the best application method of KHYE-1 was spray concentration of 0.5%, one time per day for 3 days and spray dosage of 5.0 g/box. Compared with CK, the content of N (Nitrogen), P (Phosphorus), K (Potassium) and the value of chlorophyll SPAD in rice seedlings treated with cold-resistant agent under cold stress maintained at a relatively high level, and the content of soluble sugar and proline increased by 147.4% and 72.0%, and the activities of peroxidase (POD) and catalase (CAT) were 80.2% and 2.63% higher, respectively. In conclusion, the overall effect of KHYE-1 is better than that of ABA, and it could improve the cold-resistance of rice seedlings.
