Abstract:

The peanut is the third largest crop in Hebei Province, in order to promote the green, sustainable and stable development of the peanut industry in Hebei Province, relevant research has been carried out. Based on the 2012-2017 panel data of peanut production in cities and counties of Hebei Province, the Green Factor Productivity (GTFP) of peanut in Hebei Province was calculated by Malmquist index method, a non-parameter DEA model, and a GIS thematic map was made for analysis. The results showed that: during the studied period, the peanut green total factor productivity in Hebei Province presented an increasing trend, technical progress played a very good promoting role, but technical efficiency was the opposite; from the spatial change pattern, the annual change of green total factor productivity in the eastern part of Hebei Province is obvious, and there was an obvious spatial concentration phenomenon. The western mountainous areas were at relative disadvantage because of peanut production, the annual variation of its efficiency value was obvious and its stability was insufficient. In summary, the growth rate of green total factor productivity of peanut production in Hebei Province is slow. In order to break this trend, we must focus on adjusting the relationship between input and output, and realizing the dual drive of technological progress and technological efficiency to increase peanut production.
