Abstract:

To explore the effects of different ridge rows on the growth and development, photosynthesis and yield of peanut plants under the ridge planting mode, field experiments with different ridge row numbers were set up, including one ridge 1 row, one ridge 2 rows, one ridge 3 rows and one ridge 4 rows. The changes of agronomic traits, photosynthetic efficiency and yield traits of peanuts were studied during each growth period. The results showed that the number of ridge rows significantly affected the main stem height, lateral branch length and leaf area index, but they had no significant effect on the number of branches. Under the one ridge 1 row planting mode, the main stem height, lateral branch length and leaf area index peak increased by 4.02%-16.12%, 3.07%-20.97%, 28.33%-62.68%, respectively, compared with other treatments. The net photosynthetic rate (Pn) of peanut under the one ridge 1 row and one ridge 2 rows mode was significantly higher than that of other treatments. Under the one ridge 2 rows mode, the Pn peak lagged behind for 30 days, and the Pn during pod setting period increased by 11.24%-30.67%, compared with other treatments. Compared with one ridge 1 row mode, the vegetative growth time of one ridge 2 rows mode prolonged, the photosynthetic accumulation increased, and the yield increased by 7.65%-24.52%. The study could provide a technical approach for peanut high-yield cultivation.
