Abstract:

To explore the growth pattern and survival of Ginkgo biloba in a high temperature environment in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, this study conducted an experiment about the introduction and domestication of 67 G. biloba plants in Doumen District of Zhuhai City. The environmental factors of introduction and domestication were analyzed, and 3-year character measurement and phenological observation of G. biloba were carried out. The results showed that the 3-year survival rate of G. biloba was 80.6%, the health rate of the surviving plants was 40.7%, and the performance was good as a whole. Most of the leaves were greatly affected by temperature and climate, and cannot normally turn yellow in autumn and winter. However, 14.9% of the individual plants had relatively good growth performance, showing strong adaptability and landscape characteristics. Through the introduction and domestication experiment, this study revealed the growth pattern of G. biloba in Zhuhai. The study can provide certain reference for exploring the adaptability and growth law of G. biloba under high temperature environment.
