Abstract:

In order to further improve the industrial availability of tobacco raw materials, the effects of different transplanting measures on the quality and sensory characteristics of ‘CB-1' flue-cured tobacco variety were studied. Field growth period, occurrence of diseases and insect pests, yield and quality, internal chemical indexes, and smoking quality of tobacco leaves of each treatment were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the transplanting measure of ‘burned soil mixed with nutrient soil as filling hole fertilizer for transplanting + burned soil mixed with nutrient soil filling hole 20 days after transplanting as little clay' was more conducive to the root development of tobacco seedlings after transplanting, and could accelerate the growth and development of tobacco plants, improve the economic quality of cured tobacco leaves, enhance the nicotine content of lower tobacco leaves, reduce the nicotine content of upper tobacco leaves, and improve the smoking quality of tobacco leaves. In summary, this transplanting measure is the optimum for highlighting the quality and sensory characteristics of flue-cured tobacco ‘CB-1' variety and improving its industrial availability.
