Abstract:

This study aimed at improving the heading date of ‘DHX’ to obtain more extensive ecological adaptability. ‘KY131’ was used as the early maturing allele donor of Hd1, Ghd7 and Ghd7.1 genes to control the heading date, and the genetic population was established by crossing with ‘DHX’. The data of the heading date of the population was measured by the method of combining molecular marker-assisted selection with traditional breeding. The results showed that seven genotypes in the population progeny were obtained, namely Hd1, Ghd7, Ghd7.1, Hd1+Ghd7, Hd1+Ghd7.1, Ghd7+Ghd7.1 and Hd1+Ghd7+Ghd7.1. In the population of ‘KY131’ and ‘DHX’, the heading date of rice was between 97 d and 109 d. The heading date of rice was mainly 97 d, 101 d and 109 d. Researches on plant tassel stage showed that the improved plants tasseled significantly earlier, which laid a foundation for further improvement of ‘DHX’.
