Abstract:

Anoplophora glabripennis poses significant threats to several important tree species in China, including Populus, Salix, Ulmus, and Acer. In view of the control difficulties such as its concealed life cycle, broad host range, and limited natural enemies, it is urgent to develop an effective integrated pest management system. This paper systematically reviews research progress on the biological characteristics, distribution patterns, and control technologies of A. glabripennis, analyzes the main limitations of current control methods, and proposes an integrated management strategy. The strategy includes: (1) establishing an intelligent “space-air-ground” integrated monitoring and early warning platform; (2) promoting environmentally friendly pesticides and precision application techniques; (3) improving natural enemy strains and developing coordinated release systems; (4) optimizing regional multi-species tree allocation. These methods form a “prevention-first, multi-measure synergy” control model. Through progressive “prevention-regulation-control” interventions, the comprehensive strategy balances control efficacy with ecological sustainability, providing both scientific basis and technical support for long-term management of A. glabripennis in China.
