Change of Anthocyanin Content and Quality Index in Pomegranate Fruits during different developmental period

Abstract:

Change of anthocyanin content in juice and quality index were studied in ten pomegranate cultivars. The result indicated that the anthocyanin content, hundred grain weight, soluble solid content and fruit juice yield were highest in Oct.05,2009 and juice color increased. The anthocyanin content of Daqingpitian juice was highest and lowest in Sanbai. The difference of anthocyanin content in different pomegranate cultivars was significant. The fruit hundred grain weight of different pomegranate cultivars existed extremely remarkable difference. The hundred grain weight and fruit juice yield of Damayatian were highest and existed remarkable difference with other cultivars. The soluble solid of Daqingpisuan was highest. The difference of Daqingpisuan and other cultivars was significant.
