Abstract:

To research the different quality of Qihongxiangluo tea made from different tea varieties, 3 national elite asexual tea varieties, ‘Anhui 1#’, ‘Anhui 3#’ and ‘Fuzao2#’ were investigated using ‘Keemun Chuye’ sexual variety as check. In this research, the main biochemical compositions were analyzed and the tea sensory was tested. All the tea samples were collected and prepared with the consistent standards. The results showed that the main biochemical compositions of tea made from 3 asexual elite tea cultivars which had graceful appearance and high quality were richer and better-proportioned than tea made from ‘Keemun Chuye’ sexual variety. The score of sensory tests was ranged from high to low as following order as ‘Fuzao 2#’, ‘Anhui 3#’ and ‘Anhui 1#’. The results indicated that 3 national elite asexual tea varieties were suitable for Qihongxiangluo tea, especially ‘Fuzao 2#’ and ‘Anhui 3#’.
