Abstract: To improve the quality of mechanical picking fresh leaves, with one bud-two leaves and the same tenderness folder leaves for picking standard, applying single person picking machine to carry out field trials in three different tea fields. The results showed when the standard shoots(one bud-two leaves and the same tenderness folder leaves) proportion of 80.0%, 70.0%, 60.0% to pick mechanically, the proportion standard shoots of fresh leaves were 47.4%, 25.7%, 29.4%, Visible 80.0% standard shoots of fresh leaves was suitable period of mechanical picking. Intervals of standard shoots for mechanical picking in Spring of Guizhou northern tea district was about 12 days, intervals of the first and second, second and third, third and fourth mechanical picking respectively were 13, 21, 15 days in Summer. Mechanical picking interval in autumn was 17 days. First suitable period of mechanical picking in spring was 3 days after one bud and two leaves expansion, but for Summer and Autumn was 22 days and 15 days after fish leaf expansion.
