Abstract:

To screen out suitable soil modifiers for the secondary salinized soil under the dropper mode, 5 soil modifiers were selected for field test in perennial dripping irrigation and serious secondary salinized plot, to study their improvement effect. The results showed that the soil modifiers could improve the secondary salinized soil structure, reduce the soil salt content, and increase soil nutrients. The effect of soil modifiers on waxy corn plant height has a gradual improving trend. The effect of soil modifiers on the chlorophyll content of waxy corn presents a “strong, weak, flat” trend, and could improve the yield, output value, net yield increase and yield composition of waxy corn, but the effect on soil moisture content, total nitrogen content and waxy corn thick stems is not obvious. The comprehensive evaluation of the soil modifiers’ suitability shows that the dripping irrigation type of soil modifier is more effective than the basal application type of soil modifier in improving soil physical and chemical properties and increasing waxy corn yield, and the maleic acid dripping irrigation modifier is the most suitable for the local secondary salinized soil, followed by the fulvic acid soil modifier.
