Abstract:

Based on the data of geochemical survey and evaluation of land quality in Qingzhou of Weifang, the geochemical map of selenium was drawn. A total of 100 surface soil samples and 5 vertical soil profile samples were set up in the high selenium area to study the characteristics of soil selenium. The results show that: the average content of selenium in surface soil samples is 0.28 mg/kg, and the available selenium is 1.76%-14.21%, with an average of 5.70%. There is a negative correlation between pH and total selenium, but a positive correlation between pH and water soluble selenium. Phosphorus, nitrogen, organic matter and cadmium are positively correlated with total selenium and water soluble selenium. There is a positive correlation between total selenium and lead, zinc, nickel, arsenic and mercury. The main selenium speciation is strongly bound to organic matter and residue, and the speciation order is organic high bound state selenium in surface soil (38.22%)>residual state selenium (34.82%)>humic acid bound state selenium (21.05%)>carbonate bound state selenium (3.20%)>ion exchange state selenium (1.54%)>water soluble selenium (1.00%)>iron-manganese oxide selenium (0.17%). The enrichment of selenium in the study area is closely related to organic matter. In the vertical soil profile, the selenium content in the upper part is higher than that in the deep part.

Key words: selenium, selenium-rich soil, selenium speciation, surface soil, Qingzhou
