Transcriptome Analysis of Lepidoptera Insects Based on CiteSpace

Abstract:

Based on the databases of CNKI and PubMed, this paper analyzed the numbers, chronological distribution, countries, authors, journals and research contents of transcriptome studies on Lepidoptera insects by bibliometrics. We used CiteSpace V visualization software to analyze author clustering, keyword co-occurrence and research hotspots. Ten scientific papers, 9 research institutions, 9 authors and 8 journals were searched from the database of CNKI, while 927 papers, 690 authors and 162 journals were searched from the database of PubMed. From 2015 to 2020, the transcriptome study on Lepidoptera insects was very hot. Among the studies, the information of Noctuidae, Bombycidae, Pyralidae, Pieridae and Plutellidae was more comprehensive and detailed than that of other Lepidoptera insects in PubMed and CNKI databases. The research covered high-throughput sequencing, gene expression, in vitro microenvironment, synthetic pathway proteins, gene families, hormones, genetic regulation, transcriptional responses etc. Research hotspots included olfactory receptors, Bombyx mori, toxicity, oxidized lipids, arthropod antennae, sexual attractants, virology, immunology, nucleic acid molecular hybridization etc. This paper objectively summarizes the research status of Lepidoptera transcriptome at home and abroad, and analyzes the research hotspots and unpopular areas, in order to provide data reference for entomologists.
