Abstract:

This study aims to systematically understand the research trends and hotspots of glomalin-related soil protein (GRSP) at home and abroad. Based on CiteSpace, the databases of Web of Science and CNKI were used to visualize and analyze the GRSP-related literature from 2004 to 2020 in terms of publication numbers, countries, institutions, literature co-citations and keywords. The results showed that the studies on GRSP had experienced three periods of beginning, development and stability. China had most publications on GRSP, followed by the USA and Spain. The institution with the largest number of publications was the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which far exceeded the others. However, there was little cooperation between countries and institutions, which needs to be further strengthened. The landmark articles were written by GILLESPIE AW (2011), FOKOM R (2012) and RILLIG MC (2004). In view of the powerful ecological function of GRSP, more attention should be paid to GRSP in the future, especially the structural characteristics, extraction, purification, ecological function application and other aspects of GRSP.
