Abstract:

The study aims to screen out high-yield, high-quality and suitable flax high linolenic acid materials for planting in the mountainous areas of southern Ningxia. In this study, 13 flax high linolenic acid mutant materials were used as test materials. The agronomic traits, yield traits and quality traits were determined by laboratory test and near infrared analysis technology, and the production performance and quality traits were comprehensively analyzed. The results showed that Z-M-865, Z-M-415 and Z-M-215 had the highest grain yield of 3569.07 kg/hm2, 3406.10 kg/hm2 and 3326.74 kg/hm2, respectively. The fruit number per plant, grain number per fruit, yield per plant and branch number of main stem of Z-M-865 were the highest, which were 19.64/plant, 8.40/fruit, 0.92g/plant and 7.29/plant, respectively. The plant height and process length of Z-0-300 were the highest. The 1000-grain weight of Z-M-585 was the largest. Correlation analysis showed that the seed yield of flax was significantly positively correlated with the number of main stem branches, the number of pods per plant and the yield per plant (P< 0.05 ). The linolenic acid content of the tested materials was 46.06%~56.05%, and there were 6 materials with linolenic acid content greater than 50%. Through the comprehensive analysis of production performance and quality traits, it was found that the mutant materials Z-M-865, Z-M-415 and Z-M-350 had better grain yield, high oil content and linolenic acid content in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia. The content of linolenic acid was above 50 %, which was suitable for planting in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia.
