Abstract: Supported by GIS, we built databases of geographical factors as longitude, latitude and altitude, in association with databases of topographical factors as slope, aspect and sheltered degree, in Northeast China, based on digital elevation model. Using average values of air temperature, rainfall and relative humid of counties in Northeast China, from 1961 to 2000, we built models for main climatic factors with geographical and topographical factors. In doing this, linear regression analysis was conducted. At the end, the synthetic mathematic models of spatial distribution for climatic elements were obtained in Northeast China. In addition, grid information system of climatic elements with resolution of 1km×1km was established, with help of GIS. These models and grid database will be of importance for agricultural resources protection and use in Northeast China.
