It was summarized from several aspects such as the formation of screening criteria, screening index system, techniques and methods, source of variation ways and application in breeding. On the basis of analyzing the research deficiency onSscreening crop germplasm resources with high photosynthetic efficiencys , Combined with the work experience of their research team for many years, the thoughts and methods in the future work on screening crop germplasm resources with high photosynthetic efficiency were suggested by the writer.

  Analysis of spatial-temporal dynamic change of wheat planting structure of China 2019, 35 (18):  12-24.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120121 Abstract + ( 845 )   PDF ( 2152KB )   ( 200 ) Analysis of wheat planting area distribution pattern in a regional scale is the major basis for crop planting structure adjustment. Based on the statistical data of wheat planting area of 31 provinces (municipalities, and autonomous regions) of eight years, the paper systematically analyzed the wheat planting area spatial distribution pattern and dynamical change features, as well as the relation between production output and planting area spatial distribution pattern. The slope of trend line of wheat planting area change of eight years is -0.37, showing a downtrend in general. The wheat planting areas are divided into three areas: central and eastern major wheat concentration planting area, northern secondary wheat planting area and southern secondary wheat planting area, with the average proportion of the planting area of eight years was 70.09%, 13.47% (excluding Heilongjiang) and 12.61% respectively, showing an increase, decrease, and decrease trend respectively, with the variable coefficient of 0.06, 0.22 and 0.25 respectively. The above study indicates that, the wheat planting area of central and eastern area had higher stability, and showed a notable regional concentration, while the decrease of planting area of northern area was the primary cause of decrease of the wheat planting area of the whole country. Correlation between per unit yield and the proportion of planting area was significant in the level of 99%, and the advantage of per unit yield was also the important reason for planting area concentration. The stability of wheat planting area in central and eastern area ensured the stability of the wheat planting area of the country. Although the proportion of wheat planting area in northern and southern areas was relatively low, but restraining the decreasing trend of planting area of these areas and improving the planting area of these areas will be conductive to the stability of the wheat planting area of the country.

  Habitat Investigation and Protection Recommendations of Gladiolus gandavensis in Cangnan 2019, 35 (18):  24-29.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18020010 Abstract + ( 722 )   PDF ( 1228KB )   ( 125 ) In order to explore the current situation and the adaptive environment of Gladiolus gandavensis resources in Cangnan, we carried out the investigation on the habitat of Gladiolus gandavensis by means of sample plots survey. The results showed that Gladiolus gandavensis distribution area in Cangnan mainly concentrated in the southeastern or northwestern slope of Beiguan island, Pucheng and Mazhan. The suitable altitude for Gladiolus gandavensis was between 30 m~100 m, and the most appropriate shading tree species were Casuarina equisetifolia, Zanthoxylum ailanthoides and Pinus thunbergii. In the distribution areas of Gladiolus gandavensis, the malicious weeds (Miscanthus sinensis, Setaria viridis, Artemisia lavandulaefolia, etc.) height were almost between 30 cm~60 cm, which restrict the growth and development of Gladiolus gandavensis. There were few weeds in the habitat of Gladiolus gandavensis in Mazhan, and the fertile and well drained sandy soil were conducive to the growth of Gladiolus gandavensis. Therefore, the optimal average density and growth of Gladiolus gandavensis were in Mazhan. The sharp decreasing of seedlings and soil hardening were the important factors of the weak growth of Gladiolus gandavensis in Beiguan island. This investigation found out that the geographical distribution and degressive causes of Gladiolus gandavensis in Cangnan and provide a scientific basis for the conservation and utilization of Gladiolus gandavensis resources.

  Root Development of Gentiana scabra: Morphological Study 2019, 35 (18):  30-35.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb19020062 Abstract + ( 847 )   PDF ( 2302KB )   ( 152 ) To understand the root characteristics of Gentiana scabra, we studied the developmental process and the anatomical structure of 1-4 year-old roots of G. scabra by using the routine observation and the paraffin methods. The results showed that: 1-year seedlings mostly belonged to tap root system, and more than 2-year plants developed into fibrous root system, the whole root system grew vertically downward or inclined to one side with the increase of root age; the structure of adventitious roots at different root ages was similar, consisting of epidermis, cortex and secondary vascular tissue from the outer to the inner; with the increase of root age, epidermis gradually shed completely, and the protective effect of the epidermis was replaced by its inner adjacent cortex and the mother cells of the outer cortex, its endodermis persisted, and no obvious periderm was seen at 4-year-old root; the vascular cambium composed of 2-5 layers of flat cells; the area of secondary phloem and secondary xylem increased step by step with the increase of root age, but the phloem parenchyma cells still accounted for the main part, secondary xylem was underdeveloped; a new structure appeared in the medullary center of some 4-year-old roots which was the pith endodermis. Therefore, the development and anatomical structure characteristics of roots of G. scabra are suitable for its growth environment, moreover, the development processes and functions of new structure which is the pith endodermis need to be further studied.

  Validation of Different Varieties of Kentucky Bluegrass in Seeding Stage 2019, 35 (18):  36-43.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120047 Abstract + ( 818 )   PDF ( 1345KB )   ( 118 ) In order to explore and make use of the germ plasm resource of the Poa pratensis featuring good salt tolerance, the pilot study on the salt tolerance of the germ plasm resource of 14 varieties in the seedling stage has been carried out. The salt tolerance of the Kentucky bluegrass has been evaluated in a comprehensive manner through measuring the salt tolerance coefficient of different varieties under the stress of NaCl of different concentrations and by means of the principal component analysis and the membership function. The results indicate that when the concentration of NaCl is 0.6% rather than 0,0.3%, 0.9% and1.2%, the evaluation of salt tolerance is suitable for the Poa pratensis; eight indexes such as the relative germination rate, the relative vigor index and the average diameter of the relative root system is closely related to the salt tolerance of the Kentucky bluegrass. According to the principal component analysis, the contribution rate of the first three principal components had added up to 84.263% and their proportions in terms of the overall indicators are 0.616, 0.216 and 0.168 respectively. According to the D-Value of comprehensive assessment, the salt tolerance of the Kentucky bluegrass of different varieties has been ranked, and there are several varieties featuring good salt tolerance including ‘Blue Swan’, ‘Merit’, ‘Blue fox’, ‘Kentucky’ and ‘Euromyth’, which are expected to become the dominant species in the coastal region.

Then, the diurnal variation, seasonal variation and regional variation characteristics of NAI and the factors influencing NAI concentration were summarized by summarizing the related research of predecessors, and the regularities of these conclusions were summarized. Finally, by analyzing the current research of many scholars, it is found that some problems need to be solved further in the related research of NAI.

  Spatial and Temporal Variation Characteristics of Human Comfort Index in Hunan Province in Recent 35 Years 2019, 35 (18):  50-59.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120101 Abstract + ( 664 )   PDF ( 2173KB )   ( 128 ) In order to quantitatively study the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of human comfort index in Hunan Province, daily meteorological data of 32 national meteorological stations in Hunan Province from 1977 to 2011 were selected to calculate the human comfort index and the climate characteristics and climatic tendency rates of different comfort level days in Hunan Province, the inverse distance weight method was used for spatial interpolation analysis, and Mann-Kendall method was used for trend test and abrupt change detection. The results show that: (1) Comfort is the main comfort level in Hunan Province, southwest and southeast Hunan are the most comfortable areas, central Hunan is the least comfortable area, May and October are the most comfortable months, July and August are the most uncomfortable hot months, January is the most uncomfortable cold month, there is few days reaching frigid level and torridity level, no broil condition occurs; (2) The human comfort index values in Hunan Province rise significantly, the days of uncomfortably cold level decrease significantly, while the days of comfortable level and uncomfortably hot level increase; (3) Comfort days of all levels change in the minimum in northwest Hunan, chances of changes from uncomfortably cold level to comfortable level and from comfortable level to uncomfortably hot level in northern Hunan and central Hunan are equal, changes from uncomfortably cold level to comfortable level are significant in southwestern and southeastern Hunan; (4) The significant increase of average human comfort index value and the significant decrease of days of uncomfortably cold level in Hunan are mutations, which occurred later in the 1990s, and became especially significant at the beginning of the 21st century.

  Effects of Two Different Soil Amendments on Bacterial Communities of Strawberry Planting Soil 2019, 35 (18):  60-66.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18050065 Abstract + ( 869 )   PDF ( 1367KB )   ( 773 ) Abstract：[Objective] The aim of our study was to investigate the effects of two different soil amendments on bacterial community structures, total number of bacteria and bacterial diversity of strawberry planting soil. [Method] The soil samples were selected from two strawberry ecological farms in Beijing, treated with two different commercial soil amendments namely effective microorganisms (EM) agent and Kaoshanduoba agent before sowing. And the bacterial communities were analyzed using high-throughput sequencing method. [Result] The results indicated that two soil amendments increased the total number of bacteria, altered the structure of soil bacteria, and meanwhile changed the composition of the bacterial community. [Conclusion] Our study demonstrated that soil amendments could increase total bacteria number, change planting soil bacteria diversity and structure, and have the huge potential to promote plant growing.

Due to the difference in topography and elevation, the climatic conditions of different tobacco planting units differ greatly. In order to understand the climatic characteristics of the various planting units, it is of great significance to arrange the transplanting period of flue-cured tobacco reasonably and increase the maturity. For this purpose, the automatic weather stations established at four different altitudes in 2016 and 2017, based on the observation data of two consecutive years, analyzed the variations of the temperature and the boundary temperature with the altitude, and then combined the mountain meteorological elements. The model was calculated to analyze the evolution characteristics of temperature at different altitudes, and the optimal transplanting period and the best harvesting period for each planting unit were determined. It can provide important reference for reasonable arrangement of production in various tobacco-producing areas in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture.

  Typhoon Mangkhut (1822): A Forecast Analysis of Rainstorm Based on Ensemble Sensitivity Method 2019, 35 (18):  85-94.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120112 Abstract + ( 733 )   PDF ( 4269KB )   ( 182 ) Based on the real-time observation data and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) ensemble forecast data, this study analyzes the heavy precipitation in Guangxi associated with typhoon Mangkhut (1822) and the key systems of different precipitation stages influence on prediction bias by using the ensemble sensitivity method. Results show that: (1) the precipitation associated with typhoon Mangkhut can be divided into three stages, corresponding to different rain areas, the key system is typhoon noumenon, interaction between typhoon periphery and cold air and the southerly flow of typhoon, respectively. (2) ensemble sensitivity analysis indicates that the most sensitive system to the first precipitation stage of the process is typhoon’s location. The more northwestward typhoon is, the stronger the precipitation. In the second stage, the sensitive system is typhoon’s location, subtropical high ridge area and ground cold high pressure, while the most sensitive system is the subtropical high ridge point. The third stage is sensitive to tropical depression’s location and intensity, subtropical high ridge area and ground cold high pressure, which is most sensitive to ground cold high pressure. (3) Comparing best ensemble members and ensemble average, we can find that the difference in the first precipitation stage mainly depends on the typhoon’s intensity and its location. The difference in the second stage is related to typhoon’s location and intensity of the ground cold high pressure that located in the northern of the typhoon. The difference in the third stage mainly corresponding to the tropical depression and the intensity of ground cold high ridge that located in the southern of subtropical high.

  Strong Sandstorm in Inner Mongolia on May 3, 2017: Causes Analysis 2019, 35 (18):  95-102.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120131 Abstract + ( 861 )   PDF ( 1753KB )   ( 404 ) By using conventional observation data and NCEP (1°×1°) reanalysis data, the strong sandstorm process in Middle-west Inner Mongolia on May 3-4, 2017 is analyzed, and a preliminary discussion about its formation cause is made in this paper. The results showed that: (1) The Strong sandstorm process belongs to the type of common effects of the surface cold front and the Mongolia cyclone. The 500hPa trough, the Mongolia cyclone, and the surface cold front were the main influences systems of the strong sandstorm process; (2) Vorticity advection（dynamic factor）and temperature advection（thermal factor）played a significant role in the development and eastward movement of the cyclone, by analyzing the field of temperature-pressure and vorticity advection on the higher and lower levels. (3) The helicity was negative at higher levels over the strong sandstorm area and positive at lower levels. This vertical distribution of helicity made great contribution to the formation and the development of the strong sandstorm.

  Hail Days in Qiangtang National Nature Reserve of Tibet: Spatial and Temporal Variation Characteristics Under the Background of Climate Change 2019, 35 (18):  103-109.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120118 Abstract + ( 596 )   PDF ( 1599KB )   ( 267 ) In order to further understand the climatic characteristics of hail in Chang Tang National Nature Reserve Region of Tibet (CTNNRR), put forward some disaster reduction countermeasures and reduce the hail disaster losses, the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of hail days in CTNNRR from 1971 to 2017 was analyzed with trend analysis, Mann-Kendall test method and Morlet wavelets analysis method based on the hail data of the 5 meteorological stations in CTNNRR. The results shows that: On a multi-year average, the hail days ofSeachSstation were 1.6-28.1 days in CTNNRR, and the distribution was decreasing from western to eastern. Temporally, the hail occurred mainly from June to September, most frequent in August, and the hail occurred mostly during 12 to 18 o"clock with duration of 1 to 10 minutes. The hail days exhibited decreasing trend with a rate of 3.4 d/10a in CTNNRR during the recent 47 years, especially in Xainza with a decreasing rate of 7.0 d/10a. On the decadal scale, the hail days was more during 1970s to 1990s and less in the 2000s. According to the Mann-Kendall test, the abrupt change of the annual, summer and autumn hail days occurred in the middle and later periods of 2000s, indicating a change from the more period to the less one. There was obvious periods of 3 years for the hail days in spring and autumn, together with of 5 years and 8 years in spring. The decrease of hail days was related to the significant increase of mean temperature and the decrease of daily temperature range.

  Response of G3PDH and PK Genes in Brassica napus L. to Nitrogen Fertilizer 2019, 35 (18):  110-114.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb19010010 Abstract + ( 594 )   PDF ( 1255KB )   ( 178 ) Nitrogen fertilizer is the most important nutrient element for plant growth, and the amount of nitrogen applied is also very important. In order to study the effect of nitrogen fertilizer application rate on oil content and gene expression level of rapeseed, Ningyou 22 of Brassica napus L. was used as material to determine the oil content of Ningyou 22 seeds and pod peel at three different nitrogen fertilizer levels: 0 kg/hm2, 320 kg/hm2 and 640 kg/hm2. Meanwhile, G3PDH and PK genes were detected at different nitrogen fertilizer levels. The expression level in different tissues. The results showed that with the increase of nitrogen application, the oil content of Ningyou 22 decreased, but not significantly at 0 kg/hm2 and 320 kg/hm2 levels, and significantly decreased at 640 kg/hm2 levels. The expression of G3PDH and PK genes increased with the increase of nitrogen application. The ratio of G3PDH and PK gene expression in seed to pod and 15 days after flowering were also analyzed. The results showed that the ratio of G3PDH gene expression in seed to pod and 15 days after flowering was the highest at 640 kg/hm2 level. The ratio reached the highest at 640 kg/hm2 level, and reached the highest at 0 kg/hm2 level after 30 days of flowering and 15 days of heeling.

It is the material basis of breeding for resistance to Leaf spot diseas, and also the strategic resource for sustainable development of agriculture.The main contents of research on sugar beet germplasm resources include the collection, identification and evaluation of sugar beet varieties, conservation and utilization, and the cloning and utilization of resistance genes.In order to make people more clear understanding of the research status of sugar beet resistance to Leaf spot disease germplasm resources.This paper reviews the collection, identification and evaluation, preservation and utilization of sugar beet germplasm resources, and molecular research, and prospects for future research on germplasm resources in China.In order to provide a direction for the future study of sugarbeet resistance to Leaf spot disease germplasm resources.

  Application effect of water-resistant film-forming agent ZY904 for seed coating 2019, 35 (18):  120-127.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120023 Abstract + ( 855 )   PDF ( 1561KB )   ( 256 ) In this research, the application of film-forming agent on rice seed coating was evaluated by measuring the physical and chemical properties and application performance indexes of water-resistant film-forming additives ZY904-1, ZY904-2 and ZY904-3. The purpose is to screen out the film-forming agent and the added concentration which can significantly improve the sustained-release properties of pesticides.The high performance liquid chromatography method was used to quantitatively determine the pesticide retention rate at different time points after soaking.The results showed that the filming agent ZY904-2 had a coating uniformity of 95.7% and a coating shedding rate of 1.7% at an additive concentration of 0.5%. The growth rate of germination and germination rate was 1.25% and 3.23% compared with the control, plant height and root length increased by 0.52 and 0.62 cm, respectively.The overground dry weight and underground dry weight increased by 0.46 g and 0.33 g, respectively. After 40 d of water immersion, the azoxystrobin retention rate could still reach 47.26%. The film-forming agent ZY904-2 can promote the growth of plants after application to rice seed coating agent, and significantly improve the sustained release property of azoxystrobin. It is recommended to be applied in the research and development of rice seed coating agents.

  Chemical Herbicide Treatments: Control Efficacy of Weeds and Effect on Rapeseed Yield in No-till Mountainous Areas 2019, 35 (18):  128-134.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120123 Abstract + ( 605 )   PDF ( 1266KB )   ( 139 ) 【Objective】In order to screen and recommend the herbicides to control weeds in rapeseed fields in no-till mountain areas, 【Method】the weed control efficacy of nine herbicides, high and stable yields, and economic characteristics of rapeseed fields grown in 4 different altitude no-till mountain areas were compared, by using grey relation analysis and fuzzy clustering methods, during the year of 2013 and the year of 2015 in Yuxi city. 【Results】The results have illustrated that: (1) Weeds belonging 3 classes, 12 orders, 11 families, 25 genus and 26 species were found in the no-till rapeseed field. Ageratum conyzoides L., Galinsoga parviflora, Polygonum nepalense Meisn, and Digitaria sanguinalis (L. ) Scop. were main weeds, accounting for 43.80%, 34.0%, 10.40% and 4.4% of total weeds number, respectively; (2) there was varied association between main agronomic characteristics and different treatments of herbicides, number of effective silique per plant was the most association; (3) there were significant difference among the different weed control efficacy of herbicides. There were 3 treatments reaching 80% control efficacy after 30 day application, and their control efficacy were 89.8%, 89.6% and 85.6%, respectively. (4) The rapeseed yield treated with different herbicides varied at different degree. Compared to control, the rapeseed fields treated with Pyribambenz-propyl, Quizalofop-P, Acetochlor had higher yield. The first two herbicides increased yield by 52.25% and 50.04%, respectively. (5) Two treatments of Glyphosate+Acetochlor, and Glyphosate + Acetochlor+ Pyribambenz-propyl + Quizalofop-P showed the good comprehensive evaluation regarding to the index of high and stable yield in 4 different trials. Furthermore, the first treatment could save cost by 1065.0 yuan/hm2, compared to the latter. 【Conclusion】Therefore, in the no-till rapeseed fields in low latitude mountain areas, we recommended to use the herbicides according to phase of rapeseed growing. 10-15 day before seeding, 41% Glyphosate-isopropylammonium was sprayed according to the concentration of 4.5kg/hm2, and 90% Acetochlor 600ml/hm2 mixed with 600kg water could spray evenly in the field before rapeseed germinate.

  Investigation on the stem base rot of sweetpotato and identification of pathogen species 2019, 35 (18):  135-141.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb19030138 Abstract + ( 945 )   PDF ( 3772KB )   ( 214 ) Sweetpotato stem base rot has occurred in the sweetpotato production area in the Taizhou city and its surrounding cities in Zhejiang Province since 2012, caused a significant decline in the local sweetpotato planting area. To identify the occurrence of sweetpotato stem base rot, and pathogenic composition, the field investigation carried out in 11 counties in Zhejiang province from 2015 to 2018, 127 samples were collected for isolation and identification of pathogens. The results showed that there were four main symptoms in the basal rot of sweetpotato in Zhejiang Province. Based on pathogenicity test, morphological characteristics, and sequence analysis of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and partial 16S rDNA, 8 pathogens including Dickeya dadantii, Sclerotium rolfsii, Fusarium verticillioides, F. solani, F. oxysporum, Diaporthe batatas, Phomopsis destruens and F. javanicum were identified. The distribution and composition of pathogen in different regions is different, compound infection of multiple pathogens were found to be more common in collected samples of root rot symptom.

  Formation Mechanism of Nutritional Quality in Aquaculture Mode Conversion for Main Freshwater Aquatic Products: Research Progress 2019, 35 (18):  142-147.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18080063 Abstract + ( 860 )   PDF ( 1113KB )   ( 138 ) With the improvement of living standards, people pay more and more attention to dietary quality； And several carnivorous fishes, such as perch, Channa argus and Siniperca chuatsi have been paid more attention because of their higher nutritive value. At present, these kinds of economic fish are in the transformation process of aquaculture model from the traditional pond culture to the pond engineering culture and from feeding the ice fresh fish to feed the artificial formula feed. This paper summarized the current aquaculture status and the indexes in the specific evaluation of nutritional value for these major freshwater aquatic products, and summarized the possible changes of nutritional value in the course of the conversion of the aquaculture model. After the discussion, it was found that the nutritional value, especially protein quality of economic fish such as perch and mandarin fish fed with formula feed were lower than those fed with ice fresh fish ，and the effect of this new aquaculture model with pond circulating water culture on the nutritive value of these carnivorous fishes was unclear for the nutritional value of the fish. However, seen from the present research, pond circulating water culture can effectively improve water quality and limit the accumulation of harmful substances to a certain extent. So this new aquaculture model has a positive effect on the edible quality of these kinds of economic fishes. This paper summarizes the mechanism of nutrient value formation during the transformation of aquaculture model for the main freshwater aquatic products, to provide a theoretical basis for the implementation of a new green and healthy sustainable aquaculture model.

  Path Analysis of Morphological Traits and Body Weight of Procambarus clarkii 2019, 35 (18):  148-153.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18020017 Abstract + ( 911 )   PDF ( 1248KB )   ( 136 ) [Objective] This study aimed to determine the main phenotypic traits that effect the body weight, and provide the theoretical basis for the parental selection and morphological assisted breeding of P. clarkii. [Method] A total of 350 female and 302 male P. clarkii were selected, and their weight(Y), full length(X1), carapace length(X2), carapace width(X3), abdomen length(X4), first abdomen length(X5) and first abdomen width(X6) were measured. The correlation analysis was adopted to calculate the correlation coefficients. The path coefficients and the decision coefficients were calculated by path analysis. [Result]The correlation analysis showed that all the correlations were highly significant between the traits of the female and male (P<0.01). In multivariate analysis, the morphological traits which did not reach the extremely significant level were eliminated and the multiple regression equations were presented as Y= －34.689+10.629X2+6.479X3+0.803X1 in female P. clarkii and Y=－33.413+5.727X2+6.770X3+2.043X1+3.045X6 in male P. clarkii. The results of the path analysis indicated that the carapace length had the greatest direct effect on body weight in female P. clarkii, followed by the full length, carapace width and the carapace width which mainly affected body weight indirectly through the carapace length. As for male, the carapace length also had the greatest direct effect on weight, followed by the full length, carapace width, the first abdomen width and the first abdomen which had the largest indirect effect on weight through the carapace length, carapace width and the full length. [Conclusion]The above results could lay a foundation for the parental selection in P. clarkii breeding.

  Adaptability Test of 14 Triticale Resources in Minhe, Qinghai 2019, 35 (18):  154-159.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18120081 Abstract + ( 728 )   PDF ( 1264KB )   ( 491 ) [Objective] In order to obtain the Triticale Species suitable for planting in people and areas in Minhe,Qinghai province, [Method]The adaptability tests of Triticale Species at home and abroad were carried out locally to determine the growth period, plant height, seedling emergence rate, germination and other indicators. [Result]The results showed that the growth period of domestic Triticale varieties was 2-10 d shorter than that of foreign varieties. Compared with plant height, "Pingpong" was the highest, reaching 164.3cm, followed by "Zhongsi No.1048" (158.07cm) and "Zhongsi No.3241" (153.50cm). The rate of emergence "Zhongsi No.1048" was the highest, 60.67%. Comprehensive germination index and 1000-grain weight analysis showed that "Zhongsi No.1048" was the highest, "Zhongsi No.3241" was the second, which showed good adaptability in this area. [Conclusion]Therefore, "Pingpong", "Zhongsi No.1048" and "Zhongsi No.3241" can be recommended varieties for cultivation in this area.

  Bovine Frozen Semen in China: Evaluation and Analysis of the Quality Traits 2019, 35 (18):  160-164.  DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.casb18030008 Abstract + ( 935 )   PDF ( 1153KB )   ( 226 ) Abstract: In order to further explore and improve the quality of frozen semen and the relative key technique, the quality of 1720 semen samples including dairy cattle, beef cattle (e.g. cattle, yellow cattle, yak, etc) and dairy buffalo, etc. from the domestic bovine frozen semen production enterprises had been analyzed in this research. It showed that the dose value was 0.20 ± 0.008 ml, the motility index was 40.9 ± 2.3%, the progressive motility sperm amount per dose was 1 224.3 ± 2.97 million, the abnormal sperm percentage was 12.6 ± 3.8% and the bacterial count was 38.9 ± 192.7. Motility index showed irregular interannual fluctuation changes, the abnormal sperm percentage in 2016 remarkable decreased by 0.8 and 1.3 respectively, compared with the previous two years. The difference during the three years was significant (P<0.05). The bacterial count in 2014 was significantly higher than that in the other two years (P<0.05). By comparison among breeds, the motility of dairy cattle increased by 0.5% than that of milk buffalo, by 0.2% than beef cattle and cattle (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between milk buffalo, beef cattle and cattle (P > 0.05). The abnormal sperm percentage of milk buffalo increased by 1.9% and 0.9% respectively than that of dairy cattle and beef cattle, and the difference is significant among the breeds (P＜0.05). As for the progressive motility sperm amount per dose, milk buffalo was maximum, dairy cattle was minimum, and the difference among the breeds was significant (P＜0.05). There were distinct differences in the quality index including motility, the progressive motility sperm amount per dose, the abnormal sperm percentage of the samples from different comprises. The above data analysis reflects the general situation of the quality of bovine frozen semen at present in China, and provides the basis for the technical research of frozen semen.
