Abstract: With the problem of population aging becoming more and more serious and the government paying more attention to the pension service system, the author used the method of the literature research and survey research to study the pension pattern in Lanzhou in order to make the elders in rural communities live a guaranteed life and to achieve the new goals as building a happy family and a harmonious countryside. The results of the study found that pension pattern in city communities provided guiding significance for solving problems such as the weakening of family pension and the various institutional pension problems. The successful experience of pension pattern in city communities, which includes the multiple supply subjects, various kinds of service and the cultivation of the sense of community endowment, can provide positive reference to construct the pension pattern in rural communities.
