Abstract: Variation and correlation of main fruit characters of 31 pumelo cultivars were studied and analyzed. The results indicated that the range of variation coefficient was from 9.18% to 82.59%. Correlation analysis showed that: there were definitely notable positive relationship between fruit weight and fruit diameter and fruit length, notable positive relationship between fruit weight and juice rate, definitely notable negative relationship between fruit weight and number of seeds per fruit and flavor; definitely notable negative relationship between vitamin C and fruit diameter, juice rate and titratable acid; definitely notable positive relationship between flavor and vitamin C, ratio of soluble solids to titratable acid and ratio of soluble sugar to titratable acid; definitely notable negative relationship between flavor and titratable acid, notable negative relationship between flavor and juice rate, edible rate, fruit weight and fruit diameter.
