Abstract:

At present, construction of the wetland park has been attached great importance by Beijing governments and all social sectors. It’s developing vigorously because of the support from governments and social organizations in Beijing, but constructed Wetland Parks have neither certain wetland concepts nor geographical characteristics. The Wetland Parks，plans and constructions lacked scientific guidance, still can't meet the demand of people's material and cultural life and it also lagged far behind that of Beijing urban construction and economic development. Therefore, all that the overall planning, coordination, arrangement, to develop different layers and levels of wetland parks is imminent. In order to build Beijing Wetland Park orderly and healthy development, this paper has discussed the guiding ideology, basic principles and objectives of wetland park development planning, the overall layout of wetland Park and wetland park stage planning, etc. Finally, the safeguard is proposed to wetland Park in Beijing.
