SRAP Molecular Marker and Its Application to Space Mutation Breeding of Solanum Plants

Abstract: In this paper, the authors briefly described the application of SRAP molecular marker technology to detected mutagenic effect and genetic stability of solanaceous fruit vegetables of space mutation breeding, and confirmed that the seeds of vegetables after mutation could cause variation at DNA level and had genetic stability. The authors also summarized the application of SRAP molecular marker technology in the purity detection of the hybrids of the aerospace solanaceous fruit vegetables, particularly the purification of the parents of the hybrids. The application achievements of SRAP markers technology in space mutation breeding of solanaceous fruit vegetables at home and abroad were reported in this paper, and taking into consideration of the reality of space breeding work of solanaceous fruit vegetable, the authors believed that SRAP molecular markers had a wide application prospect.
