Effectiveness of Trace Element Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer on Chinese Cabbage

Abstract: In order to compare the application effects of trace element seaweed liquid fertilizer (N:P:K=28:0:0, seaweed extract≥27%, Cu≥0.02%, Zn≥0.05%, Mn≥0.05%, B≥0.05%), seaweed liquid fertilizer (N:P:K=28:0:0,seaweed extract≥27% ) and liquid fertilizer (N:P:K=28:0:0) on Chinese cabbage of‘Shanghaiqing’, the growth characteristics, yield and economic benefit of these three kinds of fertilizers were studied. The results showed that the plant height and rhizome thickness of Chinese cabbage reached the highest under trace element seaweed liquid fertilizer treatment, which were 23.5 cm and 6.87 mm, respectively, and 8.7% and 16.9% higher than that of liquid fertilizer treatment. The theoretical yield of Chinese cabbage was 28505.1 kg/hm2 under trace element seaweed liquid fertilizer treatment, which was 4711.3 and 1244.5 kg/hm2 higher than that of liquid fertilizer treatment and seaweed liquid fertilizer treatment, respectively, yield growth rate were 19.8% and 4.6%, respectively. The trace element seaweed liquid fertilizer could promote the growth and improve the yield of Chinese cabbage significantly, and could obtain better economic returns.
