Abstract: In order to study the effect of phosphorus stress on growth and dry matter accumulation of Panax notoginseng, and explore suitable P amount, the authors adopted pot culture experiment to measure the growth traits and dry weight of Panax notoginseng by collecting samples in fixed time. The results showed that: phosphorus deficiency inhibited plant growth and dry matter accumulation of 1-year-old and 2-year-old of Panax notoginseng; high phosphorus condition was good for plant growth and dry matter accumulation of 1-year-old of Panax notoginseng, while inhibited 2-year-old of Panax notoginseng. The suitable P2O5 amount for 1-year-old and 2-year-old of Panax notoginseng was 0.18 g/kg, 0.15 g/kg in soil, respectively.
