Research Progress of Ecological Functions of Broad-spectrum Plant Endophytic Fungi Phomopsis liquidambari

Abstract: The aim is to clarify Phomopsis liquidambari having the potential to become one of broad-spectrum endophytic fungi type strain, which helps promoting the study between endophytic fungi and host plant systematization and completion. This article reviews the effect of the broad-spectrum plant endophytic fungi P. liquidambari in improving the soil chemical properties, repairing contaminated soil, optimizing agricultural ecology and increasing crop yields. From three aspects: endophytic fungi colonization, host plant physiology responses and differences in soil environment optimization, we compare this strain with Piriformospora indica, which is more popular at present. At last, we discuss the research prospect of P. liquidambari.
