Abstract: Based on 2014—2015 Google Earth images, multi-temporal OLI and RapidEye image data of Bei’ an, Heilongjing Province, a corn- soybean crop rotation remote sensing monitoring operational technology process was established by employing remote sensing visual interpretation methods. The major technical links included five steps of data pre-processing, accuracy acquisition of land location and area information, crop type identification, accuracy verification and changes statistics. The result showed that the total area of the project zone was 4528.7 hm2, with a total of 447 land parcels; among which, 193 land parcels of corns in 2014 were rotated to soybean in 2015 with a total area of 3794.4 hm2 and 65 land parcels of soybean in 2014 were rotated to corn in 2015, with a total area of 88.0 hm2; through the verification by using one by one investigation method, the land parcel accuracy reached 100.0%. The technical methods proposed by this paper had relative high accuracy and monitoring efficiency on land parcel measurement, and it could be used as the verification technology for examining the implementation of the policies on crop planting structure adjustment.
