Abstract: In order to understand the current situation of quinoa in China, in this paper, we summarized the botanical characteristics and nutritional value of quinoa, the problems of domestic quinoa industry, such as the shortage of germplasm resources, the lack of innovation and high- yielding cultivation techniques were analyzed, and the countermeasures to increase the investment of quinoa industry and promote various forms of development of industry were put forward. This paper provides a theoretical reference for the popularization and industrial development of quinoa in China.
