Effect of Nanomaterials on Plant Gene Expression and Genotoxicity

Abstract: Nanomaterials play an important role in the sustainable development of agriculture, but they are also toxic. Understanding the bidirectional effect of nanomaterials on plant gene level can provide reference for the development of plant, sustainable agriculture and food safety. In this paper, the authors reviewed the effect of plant gene expression and genetic toxicity, and discussed the future development direction, from the metal (oxide) nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, quantum dots, graphene oxide and nanomaterials and nano fullerene soot gene carrier in nanomaterials.
