Abstract:

To screen resistant germplasm resources for the selection and promotion of resistant pepper cultivars, the resistance of 206 local pepper cultivars in Jiangxi was identified by drenching them with zoosperm, and the differences of resistance in different periods were preliminarily analyzed. The results showed that both the disease rate and disease index varied widely among different materials. There were 21, 32 and 153 materials with the disease rate of 0-30.0%, 30.1%-70.0% and 70.1%-100%, respectively, accounting for 10.19%, 15.53% and 74.27% of the tested materials. There were 15, 17, 23 and 151 cultivars with high resistance, resistance, moderate resistance and susceptibility, respectively, accounting for 7.28%, 8.25%, 11.17% and 73.30% of the tested materials. 15 materials, such as ‘Ganjiao 18’, ‘Ganjiao 35’, C047, WY38, CM334, A204 and so on, were identified with high resistance. According to the analysis of the incidence, there was a significant difference of the incidence rate (invasion and spread) among the materials.
