Abstract:

The paper aims to analyze the current research status of nitrogen deposition in China, summarize the key points and weaknesses of current research, and provide data reference for scientific researchers. This article used ‘nitrogen deposition’ as the key word and the time span was 2009-2019. We obtained 754 related literatures from the CNKI database, and used CiteSpace knowledge map analysis tools to conduct visual analysis of keywords, authors and institutions about nitrogen deposition research progress, development trends and project funding. The results are as follows: (1) nitrogen deposition research has undergone a rapid growth to stable development stage; (2) the research field of nitrogen deposition is mainly around nitrogen deposition, atmospheric nitrogen deposition, soil respiration, nitrogen addition, wet deposition, etc.; (3) University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Applied Ecology of Chinese Academy of Sciences are the main research institutions; (4) associate professor Tu Lihua from the College of Forestry, Sichuan Agricultural University has the most publications in the field; (5) Acta Ecologica Sinica is the journal with the most articles on nitrogen deposition; (6) National Nature Science Foundation of China has funded the most projects on nitrogen deposition research.

Key words: nitrogen deposition, nitrogen addition, visual analysis, CiteSpace, scientific knowledge map
