Abstract:

The contents of main nutrients of 165 soil samples from main vegetable producing areas in the suburbs of Shanghai were measured and statistically analyzed, and major fertility indexes and soil pH of vegetable fields were evaluated. The results show that the average soil pH in the main vegetable producing areas in the suburbs of Shanghai is 6.82, and there are great differences in soil pH in different agricultural areas; the average content of soil organic matter is relatively rich, and the content of alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium in most soil samples are at the level of grade I; the average content of soil soluble salt is 3.5 g/kg, reaching the level of mild salinization.
