Abstract:

Parasitoids of the genus Trichogramma are irreplaceable for the biological control of Leguminivora glycinivorella and the sustainable development of agricultural, due to their advantages of simple operation, environmentally friendly and obstruction of pest resistance. In order to understand the insecticidal efficacy of Trichogramma against Leguminivora glycinivorella and the important factors influencing the parasitism effect of Trichogramma, the status quo, influencing factors and latest progress of research on Trichogramma against Leguminivora glycinivorella in China were reviewed. Trichogramma exhibit a very broad application prospect due to its egg parasitism which can kill Leguminivora glycinivorella at the early stage of eggs, with advantages of green efficiently. The studies on Trichogramma against Leguminivora glycinivorella have been carried out extensively in China, and most of them focus on the identification of factors influencing the parasitism effect of Trichogramma. And further explorations are continued to carry out. By analyzing and summarizing the studies, the future development directions on Trichogramma against Leguminivora glycinivorella were discussed. Aiming to provide theoretical reference for further application of Trichogramma to control Leguminivora glycinivorella in future.
