Biomass Anaerobic Digestion Technology: Standards Study

Abstract:

Biomass anaerobic digestion technology is one of the most mature and widely used biomass energy utilization technologies, at present, some construction and production standards have been formulated, but a complete standard system has not been formed, which has affected the development of biomass anaerobic digestion technology industry. Through the analysis of relevant national standards for the development of biomass anaerobic digestion technology in Germany, Canada and the United States, combined with the current situation and market demand of China’s biomass anaerobic digestion technology industry development, China’s biomass anaerobic digestion technical standards system framework is proposed from the perspective of industrial chain. The system is divided into 3 levels: basic standards, general labeling and special standards, according to industry and market demand, relevant recommendations are put forward for standards under formulation in the near future. The standard system is conducive to improving the standard setting and management level of biomass anaerobic digestion technology, reducing duplication and contradiction between standards, providing technical support and theoretical guarantee for the development of biomass anaerobic digestion technology industry.
