Abstract:

The paper aims to screen out the insecticides with high efficiency and low toxicity to control Spodoptera exigua, we determined the indoor toxicity and field efficacy of several insecticides on Spodoptera exigua by impregnation method. The results of laboratory tests showed that: the toxicity of several insecticides to Spodoptera exigua ranked as follows: emamectin-benzoate>idoxacarb>chlorfenamide; among them, emamectin-benzoate and indoxacarb had higher indoor toxicity to Spodoptera exigua, with LC50 value of 0.067, 1.806 mg/L, respectively; the results of field experiment showed that: the dosage of 1.5% emamectin-benzoate EC was 112.5, 150.0, 187.5 mL/hm 2 and the corrective control effect was more than 85% in 3, 7, 10 days after treatment; the dosage of 5% chlorfenamide suspension was 450, 675, 900 mL/hm 2 and the corrective control effect was more than 80% in 3, 7, 10 days after treatment; the dosage of 150 g/L indoxacarb EC was 450, 525 mL/hm 2 and the corrective control effect was more than 85% in 7, 10 days after treatment.
