Abstract:

In order to investigate the technical system to produce high quality organic fertilizer by rapid fermentation of chicken manure, this study produced organic fertilizer using chicken manure and filtered mud and different proportions of Flammulina chaff. The indexes of temperature, pH, moisture content, organic matter content, and the contents of total nitrogen, P2O5 and K2O, and the germination rate were tested in the fermentation process with different ratios of materials. The results showed that the time of fermentation and maturity was shortened by adding edible fungus chaff in the fermentation process. All the quality indexes of organic fertilizer produced by different formulations conformed to standard of NY/T 525-2021. Under the treatment of 30% mushroom bran, 60% chicken manure and 10% drying sludge, which had the shortest time of fermentation and maturity, the content of total nutrient, organic matter and moisture reached 10.33%, 48.5% and 32.5%, respectively, the seed germination index was 106.2%, and pH was 7.38 at the end of composting. In conclusion, composting fungus chaff and chicken manure according to scientific ratio is an important way for bio-safety disposal and resource utilization of agricultural waste materials.
