Abstract: The rhododendron, an indigenous plant in china, is one of the ten traditional famous flowers. Since the ancient times, the rhododendron is known as ‘xi shi’ in flowers. She has huge family and extremely high ornamental property. This article rested on the correlation literature, induces the rhododendron’s ornamental value, ecological characters and florescence, expounds its meanings in culture and ornamental characteristic, and puts forward the application way and the main disposition in landscape greenery space
